"My Favorite {CTMH} Things" Blog Hop!

Welcome to the "My Favorite {CTMH} Things" Blog Hop! Today our theme is Christmas projects!

Our Playing With Paper team is sharing artwork featuring some of our favorite products from CTMH. If you have come here from Rachel Rusticus's blog then you are on the right path. If you are jumping in our blog hop here then don't worry because at the end it will start over again and you will be able to see the rest of the blogs!

Today I have created two bags for less than $1!!! I got a big pack of the cheapest bags I could find from my local dollar store for just $1. I had lots of scraps left over from making Christmas cards. So I have used scraps to decorate the fronts of these bags. This costs barely anything and looks much better than any bag you can get for a this cost. Also these take very little time! You can't get any better than cheap, great looking, and quick to do!

This one was a brown paper lunch bag. I quickly stamped over the hole front. Then I adhered the scraps of paper. I lightly inked the white chipboard piece before stamping it with presents. I also lightly inked the white tag before adhering scraps of paper so it and the chipboard piece matched and wasn't so white. I had just enough left over darker mocha opaque gems to put three in a row on the bag also! To finish it off I inked all the edges and on top of the bag that is shown (I recommend doing this before adding the layers, but it was an after thought for me this time).

This shiny bag was made on a white bag. I covered all of the front of this one. I used the slate and lagoon colored scraps from a card and added a strip of silver shimmer trim. You can't see but I used glitz glitter gel on each snowflake and on the tag. I also added sparkles to the bag and tag. The top of this bag was cut off to make for a straight edge.

These are just a few of the supplies that I used the scraps from to make these cheap and easy bags. Get your supplies here to make quick, cheap, and easy bags.

Before hopping along please follow my blog and I would love it if you'd look around at my other creations also! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and I hope you have Happy Holidays!
Now hop on over to Carol Haines Du Ree's blog for your next stop.
